(Undated) — Comedian John Oliver took shots at Utah during a segment involving the drought in the American West during his show, “Last Week Tonight.” During the segment, Oliver cited research which showed Utah residents use more water per capita than any other Western states. He also criticized St. George’s cheap water rates, a plan to bring water into the state from Lake Powell through a pipeline and Governor Spencer Cox’s request to Utahns to pray for divine intervention for the drought last year.
