(Cache County, UT) — Two people are dead after a plane belonging to Utah State University crashed in Cache County Friday. The Sheriff’s Office says the single-engine plane went down about a mile from a nearby road in Mendon. Both victims were part of USU’s Aviation Technology program, which trains pilots and aircraft technicians. The names of the victims have not been released.
