(Salt Lake City, UT) — A judge dismissed a defamation lawsuit filed against Governor Spencer Cox, various state and county leaders and the Salt Lake Tribune. Former Salt Lake County GOP communications director David Robinson was accused last year of creating a toxic work environment and harassment. Robinson alleged that statements and social media posts from 148 defendants were part of a concerted effort to harm his reputation. Former county GOP chair Scott Miller has filed a similar lawsuit.
