OGDEN, Utah-Monday, Weber State football achieved a No. 13 ranking in the FCS Athlon preseason poll.
The Wildcats are among five Big Sky Conference squads to be ranked in the poll.
Weber State will return head coach Jay Hill, who is in his ninth season at the helm of the Wildcats’ program.
Key returning starters from last season for Weber State include junior offensive lineman Noah Atagi, junior cornerback Eddie Heckard and senior tailback Josh Davis.
Davis, a former Alta High School star, is a two-time All-American for the Wildcats.
