SUU Men’s Basketball Promotes Flynn Clayman To Associate Head Coach

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Monday, Southern Utah University head men’s basketball coach Todd Simon announced the promotion of Flynn Clayman to associate head coach.

Clayman first joined the Thunderbirds’ program in 2017 as a special assistant. In the 2019-20 season, he was promoted to the position of full-time assistant coach.

In his previous role, SUU went 43-16 (.729) and 26-8 (.765) in Big Sky Conference play.

Before coming to the T-Birds’ program, Clayman coached in Australia for AUSA Hoops.

Clayman played professional basketball from 2012-2016 in The Republic of Georgia, Ecuador, Brazil, Ecuador and Israel. Prior to this, he played college basketball at Colorado State, Troy and NAIA University of The Cumberlands (Ky.).
