(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah drivers should expect some delays if they start their Memorial Day weekend travel tomorrow afternoon. The Utah Department of Transportation is predicting ten to 15-minute delays on Interstate 15 in Salt Lake and Davis counties and around Nephi starting around one o’clock. Eastbound U.S. 40 is also expected to be a bottleneck near Jordanelle Reservoir because the road is reduced to one lane north of Heber City. UDOT is also expecting some heavier delays when travelers begin returning from holiday trips on Monday.
