(Salt Lake City, UT) — Most Utahns feel that political discourse in America is going in the wrong direction. A new Deseret News-Hinckley Institute of Politics poll shows that 90-percent of those asked feel political debates have become less civil over the last six years. The poll found nearly unanimous agreement on the issue regardless of political party. The poll also found that more than 60-percent of Utahns find their personal political discussions have become less civil.
