(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Department of Transportation wants drivers to use extreme caution when they go through highway work zones. The agency’s executive director tweeted a message to drivers yesterday to mark the beginning of National Work Zone Awareness Week. He asked all Utahns to slow down in marked work zones and to stay alert for obstacles, hazards and, most importantly, highway workers. He reminded drivers that good men and women put their lives on the line every day to help repair and improve Utah’s roads.
