HURRICANE, Utah-Josh Wright drove in a pair of runs and the Hurricane Tigers bested Kanab 5-3 Saturday in non-region baseball action. Mason Shumaker earned the win on the mound for Hurricane, posting four strikeouts in 3.2 innings of work. Waylon White and RJ Mognett each drove in a run for the Cowboys in the loss.

Softball

Region 12

RICHFIELD, Utah-Lainey Bohannon and Rhi Hren each drove in a pair of runs and the Grand Red Devils got past Richfield 10-8 in Region 12 softball play Saturday. Hope Shumway posted three strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Grand. Macie Barton had 2 RBI in defeat for the Wildcats.
