Region 14

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Hunter Price homered and the North Sanpete Hawks bested Manti 6-2 Wednesday in Region 14 baseball action. Price earned the win on the mound for the Hawks, posting six strikeouts in the victory. Karson Parry drove in a run for the Templars in the loss. Manti left 15 runners stranded on base in defeat.

Softball

2A South

PAROWAN, Utah-Layni Williams homered and the Parowan Rams clobbered Panguitch 17-0 Wednesday in 2A South softball play. Williams also earned the win in the circle for the Rams, posting eight strikeouts in three innings of work.

Non-Region

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Haylee Campbell, Kodi Nelson, Lexi Ludlow and Elli John all homered and the Cedar City Lady Reds pounded Beaver 12-2 in non-region softball play Wednesday. John earned the win in the circle for the Lady Reds as she recorded a strikeout in four innings of work.

HEBER CITY, Utah-Madison Scottorn and Tiffany Hermansen drove in three runs apiece and the Manti Templars routed Class 5A Wasatch 18-1 Wednesday in non-region softball play. Hermansen amassed six strikeouts in seven innings of work for the Templars to earn the win in the circle.

DELTA, Utah-Madelyn Johnson hit two doubles and drove in three runs as Providence Hall beat Delta 13-3 Wednesday in non-region softball action. Kara Smith had an RBI in the loss for the Rabbits.

Boys Soccer

Region 14

MANTI, Utah-Arturo Ruiz scored twice and the Manti Templars doubled up Union 4-2 Wednesday in Region 14 boys soccer play. Mitchell Ostler and Jesus Contreras also scored for the Templars in victory.

DELTA, Utah-The Delta Rabbits doubled up North Sanpete 2-1 in Region 14 boys soccer play Wednesday.
