EPHRAIM, Utah-This week, Snow College announced a new Badgerettes coach.

Bekah Ackerman has studied, performed and taught jazz, modern, hip-hop, ballet and ballroom dance in her career.

Ackerman is a 2008 graduate of Southern Utah University where she studied dance education and performed with the ballroom team at SUU.

She also performed for the Manti High School Templarettes as a student and earning the Central Utah Dance award as a Sterling Scholar.

Ackerman was also named as Miss Manti as a youth.

Badgerettes Tryouts are slated for April 30 at 10:00 am at the Horne Activity Center.

A $20 audition fee is required as well as proof of insurance at check-in.
