(Washington, DC) — Republican Senator Mitt Romney will vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court nomination. Alaska Republican Lisa Murkowski also announced that she will be supporting Jackson. That means three GOP senators have now stated they will back Jackson becoming the first Black woman to sit on the Supreme Court. Maine’s Susan Collins was the first Republican to state her intention to vote yes. Romney said Jackson is “a well-qualified jurist and a person of honor.”
