(Washington, DC) — Senator Mitt Romney says he enjoyed meeting with Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson in his office in Washington, D.C. yesterday. The Utah Republican released a statement after the meeting saying he had a wide-ranging discussion with Jackson about her experience and qualifications. Romney later told CNN that he was doing a “deep dive” into Jackson’s record as a judge and is still deciding how he will vote. The former Republican nominee for president voted against confirming Jackson last year when she was nominated for a position on the U.S. Court of Appeals.
