NEW ORLEANS-Tuesday, BYU senior guard Alex Barcello was selected to play in the Reese’s College All-Star Game Friday at New Orleans as part of the Final Four festivities.
The event will occur at the Caesar’s Superdome, the site of the Final Four and the national championship game. Admission is free to the public.
Barcello earned first-team All-WCC honors for the second consecutive season by posting 16.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game for the Cougars.
Barcello will compete on the West roster and is joined by New Orleans guard Derek St. Hilaire, Kentucky guard Davion Mintz, West Virginia guard Taz Sherman, Arkansas guard Stanley Umude, Michigan State forward Gabe Brown, Vermont forward Ryan Davis, Belmont center Nick Muszynski and Michigan State forward Marcus Bingham Jr.
