SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday afternoon, the University of Utah’s football program received a commitment from a 4-star quarterback.
Mack Howard, a prestigious passer from Oxford, Miss. revealed his plans for the 2023 season on his Twitter account.

Per 247sports, Howard is the No. 13 quarterback nationally and the third-highest ranked prospect out of Mississippi.
The Utes first offered Howard January 26 and he visited Salt Lake City this past Thursday.
Howard is the second Utes prospect to verbally commit to the program, joining Tooele High School three-star athlete Mateaki Helu.
Howard accepted Utah over offers from Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas, Louisville and Middle Tennessee State.
