RICHFIELD, Utah-Paxton Wolfley led the way with 16 points on 6-12 from the field as the No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats stymied No. 4 Bryce Valley 37-24 in the 1A state semifinals at the Sevier Valley Center Friday. Miles Roberts led the Mustangs in defeat with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Panguitch next plays in the 1A state championship game Saturday at 6:30 pm at the Sevier Valley Center against Piute.
Bryce Valley plays in the 1A 3rd-4th place game Saturday at 2:30 pm at the Sevier Valley Center against Manila.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Brooks Dalton and Gavin Morgan had 11 points apiece while each shooting 5-8 from the field as the No. 2 Piute Thunderbirds dismantled No. 3 Manila 44-25 at the Sevier Valley Center Friday in the 1A state semifinals. Tuck Davis had 8 points and 4 rebounds in defeat for the Mustangs.
1A One-Loss Bracket @ Sevier Valley Center
RICHFIELD, Utah-McCoy Harris amassed 28 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists as the No. 8 Valley Buffaloes stampeded No. 5 Whitehorse 62-33 Friday to advance in the one-loss bracket at the Sevier Valley Center. Brett James netted 12 points and 7 rebounds on 4-7 from the field in defeat for the Raiders. Valley next faces No. 6 Tabiona for 5th-7th place Saturday at 11:30 am at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Lawson Curry posted 20 points and 11 rebounds and the No. 6 Tabiona Tigers overpowered No. 7 Diamond Ranch 60-50 Friday to advance in the one-loss bracket at the Sevier Valley Center Friday. Andres Foloschini had 23 points and 16 rebounds in the loss for the Diamondbacks.
Consolation Bracket @ Richfield High School
RICHFIELD, Utah-Jaden Cornia’s 9 points led the way and the No. 13 Rich Rebels downed No. 9 Monticello 34-31 in the consolation bracket Friday at Richfield High School. Landon Ewart had 9 points in defeat for the Buckaroos. Rich next faces No. 14 Wayne Saturday at 11:30 am in the consolation bracket championship at Richfield High School.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Ryker Peterson posted 13 points and the No. 14 Wayne Badgers bested No. 15 Milford 34-26 at Richfield High School Friday in the consolation bracket. Sadler Barnes had 11 points in the loss for the Tigers.

Kyan Orton’s 15 points and 5 rebounds led the Bobcats in defeat. Piute next plays for the 1A state championship Saturday at 4:30 pm at the Sevier Valley Center against Tabiona. Panguitch plays for 3rd place Saturday at 1:00 pm at the Sevier Valley Center against Rich.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Abbie Rhoades netted 18 points and 7 rebounds and the No. 2 Tabiona Tigers outlasted No. 6 Rich 32-31 Friday at the Sevier Valley Center in the 1A state semifinals. McKinzie Smith had 9 points and 8 rebounds on 4-4 from the field for the Rebels in the loss.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Jaleana Tsosie posted 16 points and 5 rebounds as the No. 14 Milford Tigers edged No. 10 Escalante 41-39 to advance in the one-loss bracket at the Sevier Valley Center Friday. Mikki Prows netted 11 points and 7 rebounds in defeat for the Moquis. Milford next faces No. 9 Water Canyon for 5th-7th place Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Melissa Jessop posted 16 points and 12 rebounds and the No. 9 Water Canyon Wildcats upset No. 5 Wayne 54-43 Friday at the Sevier Valley Center in the one-loss bracket. AnDee VanDyke’s 20 points led the Badgers in the loss.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Ruth Cox netted 12 points and the No. 13 Valley Buffaloes gashed No. 8 Whitehorse 46-34 in the consolation bracket Friday at Richfield High School. Heidi Thomas had 10 points in defeat for the Raiders. Valley next faces No. 7 Wendover Saturday at 10:00 am in the consolation bracket championship at Richfield High School.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Leslie Luna stepped up with 25 points and the No. 7 Wendover Wildcats upset No. 3 Monument Valley 59-57 at Richfield High School Friday in the consolation bracket. Alyah Blackwater had 16 points to pace the Cougars in defeat.
