(Salt Lake City, UT) — Doctors In Utah are urging Utahns to schedule colonoscopies as the state comes out of the pandemic. Intermountain Healthcare tracked a 15-percent rise in colon cancer cases at Stage Three or higher. Doctors are linking that spike to a 50-percent drop in colonoscopies during the pandemic. In the U.S., colorectal cancer is the second-leading cause of death from cancer.
