(Hill Air Force Base, UT) — Airmen and fighters from Hill Air Force Base are now in Europe to help support NATO during ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine. F-35A Lightning jets and support personnel arrived in Germany yesterday. Members of the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings are part of the deployment. The general in charge of American air forces in Europe says the arrival of F-35A fighters significantly enhances U.S. support to NATO.
