93% Of State Facing Drought

(Salt Lake City, UT) – A dry January is leaving much of Utah in drought danger. Numbers from the Department of Natural Resources show 93-percent of the state is under some level of drought. Thirty-two of Utah’s 45 largest reservoirs are below 55-percent capacity. DNR notes that 95-percent of Utah’s water supply comes from snowpack.
