Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-Andrew Barnes led the way with 24 points and the Canyon View Falcons surged past Richfield 61-52 in Region 12 boys basketball action Wednesday. Kaden Chidester had 14 points in defeat for the Wildcats.
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-Landon Bowles posted 22 points and the North Sanpete Hawks outlasted Juab 58-53 in overtime Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball action. Wesley Nielsen led the Wasps in defeat with 13 points.
The Hawks improve to 16-3 and 6-1 in Region 14 play with the victory. Juab stumbles to 10-10 and 4-4 in Region 14 play in defeat.
This concludes Juab’s regular season as their opponent is yet to be determined in the first round of the 3A state tournament next week.
This was Senior Night for the Wasps. Those who were honored for Juab include Tyler Hathaway, Justin Christensen, Cameron Bailey, Jonah Settle and Jaxton Shepherd, who served as the Wasps’ manager.
North Sanpete concludes its season with Senior Night Friday by hosting the Delta Rabbits.
DELTA, Utah-Alec Labrum stepped up with 20 points and the Union Cougars smacked Delta 61-44 at the Palladium in Region 14 boys basketball play Wednesday. Cai Henderson’s 18 points led the Rabbits in the loss.
Region 16
DUCHESNE, Utah-Hunter Rhodes stepped up with 15 points and 5 assists as the Millard Eagles edged Duchesne 52-51 in Region 16 boys basketball play Wednesday in the battle of the Eagles. Jep Young and Cade Gines had 12 points apiece in the loss for the Duchesne Eagles.
GUNNISON, Utah-Trey Pace led the way with 17 points and 8 rebounds as the North Summit Braves waxed Gunnison Valley 44-34 in Region 16 boys basketball play Wednesday. Jack Hansen had 13 points for the Bulldogs in defeat.
Region 19
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Nash Palmer posted 13 points and the Enterprise Wolves humbled Kanab 52-38 Wednesday in Region 19 boys basketball play. Jordan Cornell’s game-high 19 points led the Cowboys in defeat.
PAROWAN, Utah-Ridge Tebbs stepped up with 25 points and the South Sevier Rams downed Parowan 67-62 in Region 19 boys basketball play Wednesday in the battle of the Rams. Brock Felder’s 28 points led the way in the loss for the Parowan Rams.
Region 20
BICKNELL, Utah-Jaden Westwood had 14 points and the Piute Thunderbirds hammered Wayne 56-40 in Region 20 boys basketball play Wednesday. Hunter Mitchell had 18 points in the loss for the Badgers.
PANGUITCH, Utah-Klyn Fullmer’s 18 points and 7 rebounds led the way and the Panguitch Bobcats stymied Diamond Ranch 68-52 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Andres Falaschini had 14 points for the Diamondbacks in defeat.
MILFORD, Utah-Miles Roberts’ 29 points led Bryce Valley to a 59-41 win over Milford in Region 20 boys basketball play Wednesday. Keith Dotson and Corbyn Dalton had 11 points apiece for the Tigers in the loss.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Valley jumped out to an 18-7 first quarter lead and continued to pull away from there as the Buffaloes beat Water Canyon 67-46 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball action.
Non-Region
MANTI, Utah-Christian Hansen netted 25 points and the Manti Templars clobbered Carbon 84-66 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play. Braxton Stevenson had 22 points for the Dinos in defeat.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Aiden Sherrell led the way with 24 points and the Wasatch Academy Tigers hammered Layton Christian 89-46 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Timmie Olubisi had 18 points in the loss for the Eagles.

BICKNELL, Utah-Kassidy Westwood netted 15 points and the Piute Thunderbirds bested Wayne 40-31 Wednesday in Region 20 girls basketball action. Hadlee Taylor’s 10 points led the Badgers in defeat.
