Lloyd, Sewell Invited to NFL Combine

INDIANAPOLIS-Per news released Wednesday, the NFL announced University of Utah standouts, linebackers Devin Lloyd and Nephi Sewell have been invited to the NFL Combine.

Lloyd has netted 32 career starts in 47 games for the Utes. He has 43 tackles for a loss, ranking him fourth in program history.

He is one of only six Utes all-time with three career interceptions returned for a score.

This past season, he became the Utes’ 10th consensus All-American selection in program history.

Sewell has posted 37 career starts in 44 games for the Utes. He played safety at Nevada before transferring to Utah and becoming a linebacker.

Sewell ranked second on Utah’s roster last season with 89 tackles, adding an interception and a forced fumble.

He ranked eighth in the Pac-12 with 6.8 stops per game for the Utes.

The combine is March 1-7 at Lucas Oil Stadium of Indianapolis.
