SALT LAKE CITY-Per a Friday announcement, 74 student-athletes at the University of Utah participating in fall sports were placed on the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll for 2021.
One of them includes former Milford High School star freshman quarterback Bryson Barnes who led the Utes to a touchdown drive in last month’s Rose Bowl at Pasadena, Calif.
Barnes is majoring in business at the UofU.
These 74 scholars are among 909 student-athletes representing all Pac-12 institutions.
The Utes’ recipients of the honors include 14 cross country athletes, 33 football players, 20 women’s soccer players and 7 women’s volleyball players.
