Region 14

NEPHI, Utah-Kate Smith led the way with 13 points and the Delta Rabbits waxed Juab 48-37 in Region 14 girls basketball play Tuesday. Avia Stowell had 13 points for the Wasps in defeat.

MANTI, Utah-The Manti Templars built a 31-11 halftime lead en route to a 51-39 win over North Sanpete Tueday in Region 14 girls basketball play.

Region 16

SALINA, Utah-Legendary North Sevier head coach Lexa Larsen recorded her 402nd career win as the North Sevier Wolves dismantled Gunnison Valley 50-36 Tuesday in Region 16 girls basketball action. Larsen was honored Tuesday for earning over 400 wins in her career. She is one of just six coaches in state history for girls basketball to reach 400 career victories. Per archiving dating back to 2001, Larsen’s Wolves squads have dominated the Bulldogs as Tuesday’s win improved North Sevier to 41-1 (.976) against Gunnison Valley in that span. Alli Mason had 9 points to lead the Wolves in victory. Rilee Dyreng had a game-high 12 points in defeat for the Bulldogs.

Region 19

KANAB, Utah-Tyler Nez posted 19 points and the Kanab Lady Cowboys pummeled South Sevier 71-53 Tuesday in Region 19 girls basketball play. Caitlin Nielson had 18 points for the Rams in the loss.

Non-Region

BEAVER, Utah-Avery Brown netted 18 points and the Beaver Beavers drilled Millard 52-33 Tuesday in Region 19 girls basketball play. Paige Cummings had 10 points for the Eagles in the loss.
