(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah teachers can receive up to a thousand dollars to help them purchase personal protective equipment or projects related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The state school board is partnering with DonorsChoose to distribute up to 12-million dollars in COVID-19 relief funds directly to teachers. Teachers must register on the DonorsChoose website and then write a description of how the money will be used to lessen the impact of the pandemic on students.
