(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Spencer Cox has issued his first part of “Utah’s Coordinated Action Plan for Water” due to the extreme drought this past summer. He says it showed everyone the importance of water planning and conservation and says the state has benefited from water storage decisions made a century ago. He says it’s now time to “ensure water security for future generations.” The plan builds on a list of over 200 recommendations.
