(Salt Lake City, UT) — Former President Donald Trump is still a polarizing presence among voters in Utah. A new Deseret News/Hinckley Institute of Politics poll finds that 50-percent of Utah voters would consider supporting Trump if he runs again in 2024. While Utah is a strongly Republican state, GOP voters are not unifying behind the former president. Only 39-percent of Utah Republicans said they would definitely vote for Trump, while 34-percent would consider doing so and 23-percent said they vote for someone else.
