Boys Basketball

1A Boys Preview

RICHFIELD, Utah-Brooks Dalton led the way with 11 points and the Piute Thunderbirds downed Manila 50-30 Friday at the 1A Boys Preview at the Sevier Valley Center. Tuck Davis had 15 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Mustangs.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Reed Edwards netted 17 points and 8 rebounds on 5-10 from the field as the Wayne Badgers outlasted Intermountain Christian 42-39 Friday at the 1A Boys Preview at the Sevier Valley Center. Dmitri Burk had 19 points and 5 rebounds on 6-12 from the field in defeat for the Lions.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Tucker Chappell posted 15 points and 10 rebounds on 7-8 from the field and Klyn Fullmer added 15 points and 7 rebounds on 6-12 from the field as the Panguitch Bobcats decimated Wendover 75-35 at the 1A Boys Preview at the Sevier Valley Center Friday. Wilbur Rodriguez netted 8 points on 3-6 from the field for the Wildcats in the loss.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Miles Roberts amassed 19 points and 10 rebounds on 8-10 from the field as the Bryce Valley Mustangs dismantled Monticello 46-25 Friday at the 1A Boys Preview at the Sevier Valley Center. Boston Freestone had 9 points for the Buckaroos in the loss.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Chance Lazenby posted 17 points and 6 rebounds on 7-11 from the field while the Tabiona Tigers humbled Whitehorse 60-43 at the Sevier Valley Center Friday at the 1A Boys Preview.  Brett James led the Raiders in defeat with 12 points on 4-7 from the field.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Corbyn Dalton led the way with 17 points on 8-10 from the field as the Milford Tigers clobbered Telos 65-33 at the 1A Boys Preview Friday at the Sevier Valley Center. Milford shot 62 percent (31-50) from the field for the game. Treyton Rose added 13 points on 6-9 from the field in victory for the Tigers. Milford improves to 4-0 on the season.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Holden Peterson posted 18 points and 6 rebounds on 9-18 from the field and the Tintic Miners bested Pinnacle 49-34 at the Sevier Valley Center Friday at the 1A Boys Preview. Jonathan Kessler led the way with 11 points and 5 assists in defeat for the Panthers.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Kyler Franklin’s 11 points and 6 rebounds led the way as the Valley Buffaloes pummeled Green River 61-27 Friday at the 1A Boys Preview at the Sevier Valley Center. McCoy Harris added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the Buffaloes, who improved to 2-3 on the season. Luis Hernandez had 10 points and 4 rebounds in the loss for the Pirates as they fell to 1-4.

I-Four Media Invitational @ Manti HS

MANTI, Utah-Alex Howard had 16 points for the Ogden Tigers as they edged Juab 53-51 Friday at the I-Four Media Invitational. Wesley Nielsen had 13 points in defeat for the Wasps.

Challenge At The Cliffs

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Jordan Eaton netted 23 points and the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs routed Richfield 70-44 Friday at the Challenge at the Cliffs at Crimson Cliffs High School. Connor Holroyd’s 10 points led the Wildcats in defeat.

Non-Region

SALINA, Utah-Ethan Fielding and Randy Elmer had 15 points apiece and the North Sevier Wolves pounded Freedom Prep 93-44 Friday in non-region boys basketball action. Ian Cutler’s 20 points led the Eagles in the loss.

BEAVER, Utah-Cai Henderson led the way with 19 points and the Delta Rabbits got past Beaver 46-41 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Conner Crum’s 20 points and 13 rebounds led the Beavers in defeat.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Ridge Tebbs stepped up with 28 points and the South Sevier Rams bested North Sanpete 72-67 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Landon Bowles led the Hawks in the loss with 22 points.

Girls Basketball

SALT LAKE CITY-Paris Everett had 16 points and the Rowland Hall-St. Mark’s Winged Lions pulverized Wasatch Academy 58-14 in non-region girls basketball play Friday. Kelsey Marino had 7 points in defeat for the Tigers.

DELTA, Utah-Shaeley Toole’s 12 points led the way and the Skyridge Falcons pummeled Delta 59-32 Friday in non-region girls basketball play at the Palladium. Kate Smith had 10 points in the loss for the Rabbits.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Harlee Nicoll’s 19 points and 11 rebounds led the Canyon View Falcons to a 55-40 rout of Juab Friday in non-region girls basketball play.
