CHICAGO-Monday, Utah junior defensive end Mika Tafua has been named to the final version of the 2021 Ted Hendricks Award Watch List as announced by the Ted Hendricks Foundation.

The Hendricks Award honors the top defensive end in college football annually.

Tafua is one of 30 players, including being one of two from the Pac-12.

This will be voted on by the selection committee with a winner being announced December 9.

This season, Tafua has 46 net tackles, 13.5 tackles for a loss and 9.5 sacks (17th nationally, first in the Pac-12).

Tafua and his Utes teammates compete for a Pac-12 championship Friday evening at Las Vegas against Oregon.
