LOGAN, Utah-In news from Sunday, Utah State graduate junior quarterback Logan Bonner was named the College Sports Madness Mountain West Conference offensive player of the week.

Bonner completed 16 of 23 passes for 306 yards and five touchdowns for the Aggies in their 35-10 rout of New Mexico.

This victory over the Lobos, coupled with San Diego State’s win over Boise State, sent the Aggies to the Mountain West Conference championship game Saturday at Carson, Calif. against the host Aztecs.

The Aggies made the conference championship game as the winners of the Mountain West’s Mountain Division.

Bonner now has 32 touchdown passes this season for the Aggies and 62 in his collegiate career.

Bonner’s 3,236 passing yards on the season are also the fifth-most in a single season in program history.
