(Utah County, UT) — A Utah wildland fire crew is spending their Thanksgiving weekend in southern California to help with fire prevention efforts. The Lone Peak Fire District posted a picture on social media yesterday showing members of the crew eating Thanksgiving dinner at a California restaurant. The crew drove to Lake Elsinore to lend their help with cleanup efforts in the Cleveland National Forest. Damaging windstorms and dry conditions have led to a Red Flag Warning in that area until later today.
