(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah’s governor wants to improve healthcare in the state by embracing new ideas and reducing patient costs. Governor Cox announced the Utah Sustainable Health Collaborative yesterday during a meeting with leaders from across the state. The governor says the initiative would create more opportunities for businesses and the government to work together for better health outcomes. If the effort goes as planned, the entire state healthcare system would be evaluated and improved over the next 15 years.
