New Report: Utah High School Graduations Spike

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A new report says high school graduations in Utah are on the rise. The Utah State Board of Education released its four-year graduation report on Wednesday which revealed that 88-percent of students graduated this year. Board members say the percentage is nearly the same as last year’s but noted that there are over 12-hundred more students in high school this year as opposed to 2020. In their breakdown, Asian students had the highest rate of graduation this year at just under 92-percent, while students with disabilities had the lowest rate of graduation at 73-percent.
