Governor Cox Won’t Veto Bills Passed In Special Session

(Salt Lake City, UT) — All bills passed in the special session are getting green-lighted by Governor Spencer Cox. On Thursday, Governor Cox announced that he will not veto any bill the State Legislature approved in special session this week. In a statement, Cox said that he will sign off on the legislations once they come across his desk. Among the bills was the name change of Dixie State University to Utah Tech University.
