LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State football kicker Connor Coles was selected as one of three Lou Groza Award “Stars of the Week” as confirmed by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission.

The Lou Groza Award, which is presented by the Orange Bowl, has recognized Coles, along with California redshirt junior Dario Longhetto and West Virginia redshirt junior kicker Casey Legg.

In the Aggies’ 26-24 win over Colorado State, Coles made all four of his field goal attempts (45, 30, 42 and 34 yards) and both of his extra point attempts Friday evening.

The senior out of Bozeman, Mont. has made 70.6 percent (12-17) of his field goal attempts this season for the Aggies.

Coles and his Aggies teammates host Hawaii Saturday as Utah State seeks to become bowl eligible.

The Aggies are presently 5-2 and 3-1 in Mountain West Conference play.
