NEW ORLEANS-Following Utah’s 35-21 win over Arizona State last Saturday evening, Utes sophomore quarterback Cam Rising has been named one of eight Stars of the Week by the Manning Award.

Through Thursday at 10:00 am MDT, fans can vote for Rising.

In the Utes’ win over the Sun Devils, Rising completed 21 of 33 passes for 247 yards, 2 TD’s and 2 INT’s. On the season, Rising is completing 65.3 percent of his passes for 872 yards, 9 TD’s and 2 INT’s for the Utes.

Rising also won Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week.

Utah, the winners of three straight, are now 4-2 on the season and 2-0 in Pac-12 South play.

The Utes seek to continue their winning streak Saturday by visiting Oregon State.
