1-A South

PAROWAN, Utah-Travis Stewart (15 car, 81 yards, TD) ran for the winning score in the closing moments and the Kanab Cowboys bested the Parowan Rams 19-14 Friday in 1-A South play.

The Cowboys outgained the Rams 364-178 but had to overcome several key turnovers and bad field position throughout the game to suppress a spirited Parowan squad.

Parker Franklin (21 car, 124 yards, TD) led the Kanab running attack as the Cowboys ran for 291 yards, while Saxton Unsworth (4 rec, 64 yards) was Kanab’s leading receiver.

Preston Houston added a 17-yard touchdown run for the Cowboys in the victory.

Christian Bost (14 car, 83 yards, TD) and Shaydon Benson (interception) led the Rams in defeat, while Treven Yardley added a running score in the loss for Parowan.

The Cowboys finish the regular season at 8-2 and 5-0 in 1-A South play. The Rams end the regular season at 5-5 and 2-3 in 1-A South play.

MILFORD, Utah-Matthew Ramos threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Clayton Anzalone and Aiden Dougherty added an 83-yard scoring run as the Enterprise Wolves outlasted Milford 23-19 in 1-A South play Friday. Treyton Rose (5 yards), Kielen Tsosie (5 yards) and Quaid Thompson (4 yards) had touchdown runs in the loss for the Tigers.

SALINA, Utah-Nathan Snyder had touchdown runs of 37 and 5 yards and the North Sevier Wolves clobbered Gunnison Valley 41-8 Friday in 1-A South play. Kannin Boswell had a 2-yard touchdown run and returned a fumble 43 yards for another score in victory for North Sevier. Ryker Frischknecht added a 2-yard touchdown pass to Cauy Williams and James Crowley ran for an 8-yard score for the Wolves in the rout. Brogan Christensen hauled in a 23-yard touchdown pass in the loss for the Bulldogs.

3-A South

RICHFIELD, Utah-The Canyon View Falcons bested the Richfield Wildcats 12-7 Friday in 3-A South football play.

2-A South

MONROE, Utah-Cobe Carter caught a pair of scoring passes and added a 60-yard scoring run as the Beaver Beavers pounded South Sevier 42-0 in 2-A South football play Friday. Boston Black (21 yards) and Ayden Bradshaw (15 yards) also added touchdown runs for the Beavers. Gage Edwards returned a blocked punt 17 yards for another touchdown for the Beavers and Santiago Amezcua added a 28-yard field goal to contribute to Beaver’s scoring.

FILLMORE, Utah-Cameron Skeem had scoring runs of 1 and 4 yards and the Delta Rabbits waxed Millard 26-12 Friday in 2-A South football play. Ryder Rogers added a 5-yard touchdown run in victory for the Rabbits. Sam Rasmussen (15 yards) and Morgan Wade (5 yards) ran for scores in defeat for the Eagles.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks outlasted Snow Canyon 3-2 in non-region volleyball play Friday.
