(Fort Campbell, KY) — A Utah National Guard member has died while taking part in a training exercise in Kentucky. Staff Sergeant Paul Olmstead was swimming at Fort Campbell on Tuesday when he went under the water and failed to resurface. His body was recovered on Wednesday. Olmstead joined the Utah Guard in 2016 and was a member of Bravo Company, First Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group. His death is currently under investigation.
