LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State football graduate senior inside linebacker Justin Rice earned Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week.

Rice posted an interception, a forced fumble, a career high-tying 14 tackles and two tackles for a loss in the Aggies’ 49-45 win over Air Force Saturday.

Rice and his Aggies teammates take their 3-0 record into Saturday’s home game against Boise State.
