Initial UHSAA Football RPI Released Monday

MIDVALE, Utah-Monday, the Utah High School Activities Association released its initial RPI for all six classifications of competition statewide.

The Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network consists of schools in the 1-A, 2-A and 3-A classifications. We will post the respective RPI’s in that order of succession:

1-A:

The No. 1 North Sevier Wolves are 5-0 on the season and have outscored opponents 131-41. They commence 1-A South region play Friday by hosting No. 6 seed Milford (3-2).

The Wolves are followed by:

No. 2 Duchesne (4-1), No. 3 Layton Christian (3-2), No. 4 Kanab (3-2), No. 5 North Summit (2-3), aforementioned No. 6 Milford, No. 7 Enterprise (2-2), No. 8 Gunnison Valley (2-1), No. 9 Parowan (3-2), No. 10 Monticello (1-4) and No. 11 Rich (0-4).

In 2-A, defending champion Beaver is No. 1 in the RPI.

The Beavers (5-0) commence 2-A South play Friday by hosting No. 8 Delta (1-4).

The Beavers are followed by No. 2 South Summit (5-0), No. 3 San Juan (4-1), No. 4 Summit Academy (2-3), No. 5 Emery (2-3), No. 6 Providence Hall (2-3), No. 7 South Sevier (1-3), aforementioned No. 8 Delta, No. 9 ALA (1-4), No. 10 Millard (1-4), No. 11 Grand (0-4) and No. 12 Judge (0-4).

In 3-A, Grantsville is No. 1 in the RPI:

The Cowboys (3-2) have only lost to Class 5-A Provo and Beaver on the season. By virtue of their challenging schedule, they have the nod over No. 2 Juab (4-1) at this stage.

The Cowboys and Wasps are followed by No. 3 Juan Diego (3-1), No. 4 Morgan (3-2), No. 5 North Sanpete (2-3), No. 6 Ogden (2-3), No. 7 Union (2-3), No. 8 Carbon (2-2), No. 9 Canyon View (1-3), No. 10 Ben Lomond (1-4), No. 11 Manti (1-3) and No. 12 Richfield (1-4).
