(Washington, DC) — Two top Republicans want an “immediate investigation” into the White House leaks that resulted in Michael Flynn’s resignation as National Security Advisor. Congressmen Jason Chaffetz of Utah and Bob Goodlatte of Virginia are calling on the Justice Department to investigate the leaks, saying they have serious concerns about the “inadequate protection of classified information.” Flynn resigned after it was revealed he had questionable meetings with a Russian ambassador before President Trump took office. Chaffetz told reporters Tuesday that he had no plans to investigate Flynn’s meetings with Russian officials, saying that situation was “working itself out.”
