THE WOODLANDS, Texas-Tuesday, Dixie State football freshman tailback Quali Conley was named to the preseason all-WAC team during WAC football media days at The Woodlands Marriott of The Woodlands, Texas.
During the spring season, the 6-foot 190-pound tailback out of Fresno, Calif. posted 607 all-purpose yards, including 400 rushing yards and six net scores.
The defending 2020-21 NCAA FCS national champions, Sam Houston, were slated to win the WAC per conference media.
The Bearkats also landed a conference-best 17 players on the All-WAC preseason list.
Dixie State, which is not eligible for the WAC conference championship, was not ranked by coaches and media in the conference.
The Trailblazers commence their first fall Division I season September 4 by hosting Sacramento State at Greater Zion Stadium.
