EPHRAIM, Utah-Thursday, Snow College announced the date for cheerleader tryouts for the 2020-21 season.

This is Saturday July 31 from 4:00-6:00 pm.

The following are required for all trying out:

Submit $30 tryout/registration fee

Submit tryout registration form and payment (if not already done)

Submit a brief resume describing previous cheer/dance experience as well as a list of current mastered skills

Submit a headshot

A minimum 2.0 GPA

During the clinic show stunting skills, you must at least attempt one man to hands.

Cheer Women

Apparel for tryouts must consist of black shorts, a white T-shirt or tank. Hair must be pulled into a ponytail.

Clinic cheer

Clinic dance

Jump series of at least three jumps (one must be a toe touch)

2 tumbling passes-one with up to three back handsprings and the other a tumbling pass of your choice (whip, layout, tuck, full, etc.)

Standing back handspring

optional elements to add: standing tuck, standing toe touch back handspring.

Cheer Men

Videos must include the following:

Clinic cheer (no actions required-primarily looking for strong, loud voices) (taught at clinic)

Optional elements to add in (but not required)

any tumbling you can do

any jumping you can do

Stunting skills

Snow College cheerleading is a two-semester committment
