(Salt Lake City, UT) – A Utah program designed to train candidates to fill high-paying jobs is getting a big funding boost. The governor’s office announced last week that the Talent Ready Utah program is getting a grant for more than two-million-dollars. The program creates training partnerships between schools and businesses trying to fill thousands of open jobs. A spokesman for the governor’s office says high school students can train directly with an industry partner and be job ready by the time they graduate.Â
