Southwick is a native of Palmer, Alaska, who starred at Palmer High School and was a four-year varsity letter winner in basketball for the Moose.
Southwick was with Dixie State in the 2018-19 season and transferred after serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission.
