An arrest has been made in the suspicious death of a Mt. Pleasant woman. Anthony Christensen, 35, was taken into custody by Mt. Pleasant police on Saturday after his fiancée Kammy Edmunds, 34, was found dead due to head injuries at her home on Friday. Edmunds’ missing car was found near Power Plant Park in Mt. Pleasant and appeared to have been driven off an embankment into a dry creek bed. Christensen told police that Edwards crashed her car and then walked home, where he found her dead on the bathroom floor. Mt. Pleasant police are investigating the incident as a case of domestic violence.
