KAYSVILLE, Utah-Friday, the first day of 1-A through 4-A state track at Davis High School commenced with various Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network student-athletes in competition for state titles in their respective events.

Rain came through in the mid-morning portion of the meet and as the afternoon progressed, a lightning delay occurred, just as was the case on Wednesday for 5-A/6-A competition at this site. The weather has been mercurial at Davis High School all week.

In the 1-A girls standings, Panguitch is in the lead with 58 points. Milford is second with 36 points. Bryce Valley is third with 27 points. Escalante is fifth with 14 points. Valley is sixth with 12 points. Wayne is 10th with 3 points.

In the 1-A boys standings, Water Canyon is first with 40 points. Bryce Canyon is second with 28 points. Panguitch and Tabiona are tied for third with 23 points apiece. Milford is sixth with 11  points. Valley is eighth with 4 points. Wayne, Manila and Dugway are tied for 9th place with 1 point apiece.

In the 2-A girls standings, Millard is in first place with 40 points. Kanab is second with 27 points. North Summit is third with 24 points. Beaver is in fifth place with 20 points. North Sevier is in seventh place with 13 points.

In the 2-A boys standings,Kanab is in first place with 33 points. North Sevier and Parowan are tied for sixth place with 9 points apiece. Beaver is in eighth place with 8 points. Millard is in ninth place with 7 points.

In the 3-A girls standings, Delta is in first place with 38 points. Juab is in second place with 34 points. South Sevier and Carbon are tied four fourth place with 91 points apiece. Manti is in eighth place with 9 points. North Sanpete is in ninth place with 8 points. Richfield and Maeser Prep are tied for 13th place with 2 points apiece.

In the 3-A boys standings, Delta is in first place with 29 points. Juab is in second place with 27 points. Richfield is in fourth place with 20 points. North Sanpete is in 10th place with 3 points. Manti is in 12th place with 1 point.
