(Salt Lake City, UT) – Utah Senator Orrin Hatch says he plans to run for an eighth term in the Senate unless something unusual happens. Speaking yesterday in Salt Lake City, the Republican senator said he would consider stepping aside if former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney wanted to take his place. But Hatch says he doesn’t feel that Romney is really interested in running. The 83-year-old says Republican leaders are all encouraging his reelection bid and that he still has the energy to complete another six-year term.Â
