3-A State Semifinals
WEST JORDAN, Utah-Brigham Beacham drove in a pair of runs and the Grantsville Cowboys overcame an 8-0 deficit to stun Richfield 9-8 in the 3-A state semifinals Friday at Cate Field. Daxton Webb earned the win on the mound for the Cowboys, going the distance. Max Robinson and Will Robinson each drove in a pair of runs for the Wildcats in defeat. Grantsville advances to the 3-A state championship game Saturday at 12:30 pm. Richfield next faces the winner of Juab-Carbon in the consolation bracket Saturday at 10:00 am.
3-A State Consolation Bracket
WEST JORDAN, Utah-Brayden Lawton homered and posted five RBI overall as the Juab Wasps clobbered Manti 17-5 Friday at Cate Field. Brennan Kay added five strikeouts in the win for Juab. The Wasps next play Friday at 7:00 pm in the consolation bracket against Carbon.
WEST JORDAN, Utah-Keaton Rich, Rylan Hart and Jordan Fossat each drove in a pair of runs and the Carbon Dinos waxed Juab 8-4 Friday in the consolation bracket at Cate Field. Kade Dimick posted seven strikeouts and earned the win on the mound for the Dinos. Carbon next faces Richfield Saturday at 10:00 am in the consolation bracket. The winner of that game plays Grantsville for a 3-A state championship game. Juab committed four errors in the loss, which played a crucial role in the defeat.
2-A State Semifinals
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Nathan Townsend drove in three runs and the Parowan Rams upset Gunnison Valley 11-9 Friday in the 2-A state semifinals at Nelson Park. Trevin Yardley earned the win on the mound for the Rams by posting five strikeouts. Payton Dyreng had three RBI in the loss for the Bulldogs. Parowan advances to the 2-A state championship game Saturday at 12:30 pm at Utah Valley University in Orem. Gunnison Valley plays Beaver Saturday at 10:00 am at Utah Valley University.
2-A State Consolation Bracket
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Cobe Carter drove in three runs and the Beaver Beavers outgunned Duchesne 13-10 Friday in the 2-A state consolation bracket at Nelson Park. Crayton Hollingshead posted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Beavers. Cade Gines posted 4 RBI for the Eagles in the loss. Beaver next plays Kanab Friday at 7:00 pm in the 2-A consolation bracket.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-August Cowan drove in a pair of runs and earned the win in the circle as the No. 3 Grantsville Cowboys upset No. 1 Manti 3-1 in the 3-A state softball semifinals Friday at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex. Grantsville now advances to the 3-A state championship game Saturday at 12:30 pm at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex. Manti now plays Carbon Saturday at 10:00 am in the semifinal consolation bracket.
2-A State Semifinals
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Addison Nelson posted four RBI and the Enterprise Wolves advanced to the 2-A state championship game with a 14-8 win over Beaver Friday in the 2-A state semifinals at the Spanish Fork Complex. Noah Moyle earned the win in the circle for the Wolves as she posted four strikeouts in seven innings of work, going the distance. Star Moon had 3 RBI in defeat for the Beavers. Beaver next faces Parowan Saturday at 10:00 am in the consolation bracket. The winner of this game advances to play Enterprise in the state championship game.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Ashley Rasmussen and Katie Larsen drove in two runs apiece and the Manti Templars walloped Grand 12-2 in the 3-A state quarterfinals at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex Friday. Tiffany Hermansen earned the win in the circle for the Templars by posting 12 strikeouts. Manti next plays Grantsville at 2:30 pm Friday in the state semifinals at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Emberlyn Eyre drove in a pair of runs and the Beaver Beavers downed Gunnison Valley 5-2 Friday in the 2-A state quarterfinals at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex. Star Moon and Sadie Bradshaw also drove in runs for Beaver in victory. In a losing effort, Kennedi Knudsen posted 10 strikeouts for the Bulldogs. Madi Robinson earned the win in the circle for the Beavers, going the distance. Beaver next plays Enterprise in the 2-A state semifinals at 2:30 pm at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex.
