(Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, UT)  –  Rainbow Bridge now has a special designation as a Traditional Cultural Property.  The National Parks Service announced the designation yesterday, saying the rock formation has had cultural significance to multiple Native American tribes for centuries.  The designation also places Rainbow Bridge on the National Register of Historic Places.
