CEDAR CITY, Utah-Southern Utah University men’s basketball head coach Todd Simon has announced the opening of their 2021 basketball camps.

Six different camps run from June 1-August 7 and will feature individual and team competition events as well as skills work. Skills work includes shooting, ball-handling, defense, rebounding and passing.

SUU coaching staff members will be featured as speakers during the camp. All camp attendees will receive an official camp shirt.

Camps will be at the America First Event Center, the multipurpose gymnasium and the JL Sorenson Physical Education Building.

Camps will be conducted by the SUU coaching staff and current SUU players. A professional medical trainer is on duty at all times.

The camps are as follows:

Todd Simon Kids Camp

June 7, 14, 21 and 28 (9:00 am-12:00 pm; 1:00-4:00 pm). This is for boys and girls in 1st-6th grades, $35, half day, $60 full day. $70, two half days, $120, two full days, $105, three half days, $180, three full days, $120 four half days, $220, four full days. Early drop-off: $10, late pickup, $10

Junior High Camp

June 7-8. Monday: 1:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Open to all high school players: grades 6 -8. Cost: $120 (no housing), $190 (housing plus meals)

Todd Simon Elite Camp

June 25-26: Friday, 12:00-8:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Open to all players in high school, grades 9-12. Cost: $120 (no housing), $190 (housing plus meals)
